July is here, and it’s time once again to get ready for the Arthritis Foundation’s Run/Walk to Milwaukee Irish Fest, presented by The Equitable Bank! Follow link above to register online or follow links for further registration:

This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2009.  The certified 5K Run/Walk begins with pre-race stretching and ends with refreshments, complimentary massages, and an awards presentation.  

New this year, for the first time, the Run/Walk to Milwaukee Irish Fest will offer chip timing to interested participants for additional $5.  Only those participants who chose the chip timing option will receive an official time and be eligible for race awards.  The top male and female finisher, as well as the top three finishers in each age group will receive a medal (Age Groups: 10 & U, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+).

With your help, we hope to reach our goal of raising more than $84,000 to support research, programs, and services for the 1.1 million adults and 5,400 children in Wisconsin who live with the daily pain of arthritis.
