Hurling Club

The Milwaukee Hurling Club will display information related to the ancient Irish sport of hurling throughout the weekend in the Cultural Village on the south end of the grounds. Those interested in viewing past Club events are encouraged to stop by and watch them in our TV viewing area or can catch live hurling scrimmages (including the annual Milwaukee vs. Spirit of Galway event) on the field outside the North Gates on Saturday and Sunday (see the Irish Fest grounds brochure for time details). Guests interested in learning how to play the sport, can give the hurley and sliotar a try in the Club's on-site hitting tube. Kids aged 5-14 can also participate in a clinic located just behind the Milwaukee Hurling Club display throughout the weekend.
