Irish Fest features a number of daily sporting events to watch and become involved in during your stay. For those interested in the "thrill of sports" at the festival, please see:

• Tug-of-War - The Tug-of-War events take place on the south end of the festival grounds
  
• Currach Races
  Saturday, August 15: Noon, ICCM regatta and NACA currach races; 5 p.m., Awards Ceremony. Sponsored by Meehan Family Foundation
  Sunday, August 16: 1 p.m., Alumni regatta and awards; 3 p.m., Milwaukee Firefighters vs Police Officers; 4 p.m. Awards Ceremony (Lavin Cup)
  
• Hurling - Hurling matches take place in Urban Park, north of the festival grounds
  
• 5k Run/Walk to Irish Fest
  
• Lilli-Putt Miniature Golf for Children - in the Children's Area
