IRISH FEST CELEBRATES 30 YEAR ANNIVERSARY August 19 - 22
As part of the Irish Fest 30th year celebration, Irish Fest has planned activities to honor and recognize our volunteers during the weekend festival. Please read about these events and plan on joining us in our celebration.
SPECIAL EDITION 30TH ANIIVERSARY BUTTONS
All volunteers will receive a special edition 30th Anniversary Volunteer button. Bring the letter you receive with your pass packet to the volunteer tent to receive your button. We encourage the buttons to be worn not only while volunteering but any time that you are on the grounds.
VOLUNTEER RAFFLE
All volunteers will be eligible to win a raffle prize. Multiple prizes will be given daily Friday through Sunday. Registration cards will be available in the volunteer tent when you receive your button. Winners will be posted in the tent.
VOLUNTEER TENT HOURS
The volunteer tent will be open for button pick-up and raffle registration for the following hours.
VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION
The festival would not be possible without YOU, our volunteers. For our 30th, Irish Fest has created special opportunities for volunteer recognition and participation.
STAGE PERFORMANCES
At each stage performance, volunteers will be asked to stand and be recognized for their service.
PARADE
There will be a special section for volunteer participation in the parade. All available volunteers are invited to meet at the north end of the festival grounds across from the Rock Stage on Friday at 6:45 pm; Saturday at 4:30 pm and on Sunday at 4:00 pm. Wear your button and be a part of the parade!
VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION DISPLAY
A recognition display will be located in the cultural village near the genealogy booth.
Don’t miss visiting the Voyager Tent, a special area, located on the North End, reviewing 30 years of special Irish Fest memories.
