Security personnel located at the entrance of the residence hall check identification of all participants entering the residence halls. Please be prepared to show them your ID as you enter.

GUESTS: For purposes of this policy, a visitor is any non-resident who wishes to contact and/or visit a resident participant for personal reasons. In general, a visitor does not have an Irish School Resident ID.
Participants are allowed to have guests in the residence halls during visitation hours. Visitation Hours are:

Sunday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 1:00 AM - Friday and Saturday 7:00 AM - 2:00 AM

All front doors will be locked from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM Monday - Friday and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Resident participants must use their MSOE ID card to gain access during these times. Other then the family/couple floor, overnight visitation of the opposite sex is not permitted. When entering the building with a visitor, please stop at the Public Safety desk and sign in your visitor. Your visitor must have a valid picture ID which will be retained by the Public Safety Office during the visit and returned when your visitor leaves the building. Parents of participants do not need to be signed in, however, their child must meet them in the lobby of the residence halls. ALL VISITORS MUST BE WITH THEIR HOST AT ALL TIMES.

COMMUNICATION: Communication is very important between the MSOE residence hall staff and the residents. If you have a problem, please speak with the MSOE Housing Office.

Designated floors of the Residence Halls will be reserved for this program with all single male, single female, married couples and family participants (parents and children will be housed in the same room dependent on age of the children) being housed on different floors and/or buildings. Specific floor and room assignments for the participants and staff will be determined by the Housing department before the group arrives. Floors assigned to this camp will be visited by the Housing Department and the Public Safety staff in the normal performance of their duties. If any participant wants to be relocated for personal reasons, the Housing Department will try to accommodate these requests if possible. MSOE Housing also reserves the right to remove participants because of discipline issues or violation of MSOE residence hall policies.
