If you haven't already, send in your registration! There is still space available for you, but remember, classes that do not meet minimum enrollments may be cancelled!
The following Monday and Tuesday evening sessions will be free and open to the public:
Monday 7-9pm: Francis O'Neill Cylinders CD Launch Party: Come hear about the Dunn Family Collection and the story of the lost Francis O'Neill cylinder recordings from circa 1904. Hosted by Barry Stapleton and Jeff Ksiazek of the Ward Irish Music Archives. The music from these cylinders is now featured on a CD which will be launched at the event.
Tuesday 7-9pm: Irish Fest at 30 with Founder Ed Ward: Join festival founder Ed Ward and friends including Joanie Madden, Mick Moloney and Tom Sweeney to reminisce and reflect on past festivals and the impact on Irish music. Bring your reflections, reminisces, and stories and join the fun.
Also, don't miss Wednesday night's Songs and Stories from the North, a not to be missed evening with three legendary Northern Irish singer songwriters: Tom Sweeney, Len Graham, and Tommy Sands. $20 fee. Admission can be purchased at the door.
Whiskey Tasting is back! Like to study late? A Jameson Whiskey Tasting features all the Jameson brands on Wednesday night, August 18 at 9:30pm at Trinity Three Irish Pubs. Fee is $15.The following class limit has been reached: Sugan Weaving.
Book Club: We have chosen Norah's Children by Ann O'Farrell. Unfortunately we have not been able to secure a discussion leader. We will designate an area for those who wish to discuss this absorbing book.
